It being both New Years Eve and a Monday, there can be no better time than now for another Motivation Monday post. Today is a quote about facing the new year, courtesy of the brilliant Neil Gaiman. He has written so, so many inspiring words, but the quote I have gone for is actually about mistakes; I spend a lot of last weekend getting frustrated with drawing things ‘wrong’, and then I read this and it helped:
Mistakes are frustrating, especially when you seem to spend more time with a rubber in your hand than a pencil but still, it means something is happening rather than nothing, and something must mean heading in the right direction.
On that note, Happy 2013 All, mistake filled or otherwise!
